Home Your Facility Using ENEPCS® Reports Resources More Information About Us FAQs
ENEPCS® can be used in multiple clinical settings by multiple caregiver roles. At a set time during the shift, defined by the facility, caregivers rate the complexity of care for each patient's needs. Eight categories are rated over five levels for each patient:
  1. Cognitive Status
  2. Self-care Status
  3. Emotional Psychosocial Support needs
  4. Comfort/Pain Management needs
  5. Family information and support needs
  6. Treatment needs
  7. Interdisciplinary coordination, patient teaching, and documentation needs
  8. Transition planning needs
Each category has five levels, differentiated and defined by each facility, with descriptors that are easily accessible online while documenting. These levels quickly become familiar to all caregivers providing care on a particular patient care area.
